Elmutt Clifton's Printers of Hove produced an excellent eight-page programme for the 1896 Emancipation Run, complete with advertising. 

We were particularly taken by the advertisement for Miss Lily Foord's Annual Concert, which was to be held at the Assembly Rooms in Hassocks, Sussex, in December of that year, and in Elmutt Clifton's statement that the Hove Gazette - a fine example of the printer's work - was 'well written, nicely printed and on good paper'.
